What are Google+ Pages? The Google+ Page allows businesses to establish an online presence on Google+ and engage with their customers. Very similar to Facebook business pages they will allow businesses to form stronger customer relationships with users of the Google+ network.
The official Google Blog describes Google+ Pages best, “Google+ Pages give life to everything we find in the real world. And by adding them to circles, we can create lasting bonds with the pages (and people) that matter most.”
Most importantly, from a business perspective Google+ Pages will be indexed and appear in Google search results, and you can also jump straight to the Google+ Page of a business by simply typing “+” followed by the business name in the Google Search Bar.
With this addition to the social space I’m interested on how other business owners will use Google+ Pages. Are you going to setup a page? Will you post the same content as your Facebook Page, or abandon Facebook and move to Google+? Will it change what you post on Twitter?
I can’t wait to see how the unique audiences of each social platform take shape in the future and would love to hear your thoughts.
